Dr. Katrina Schlarman is a dedicated optometrist with a passion for enhancing vision health and improving quality of life. A proud graduate of Marion Local High School, she went on to earn a degree from Ohio State University before graduating at the top of her class from the Ohio State University College of Optometry.

Committed to advancing the field of optometry, Katrina is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Ohio Optometric Association (OOA), where she previously served as Zone Governor. Additionally, she is a member of the Ocular Wellness and Nutrition Society, emphasizing the importance of holistic eye care.

With special interests in treating dry eye, primary care and preventative medicine, myopia management, specialty contact lens fitting, and vision therapy, she believes strongly in the power of early detection, lifestyle modifications, and proper nutrition to achieve optimal eye health. Whether through personalized care plans or cutting-edge treatments, Dr. Schlarman is dedicated to helping patients maintain long-term visual well-being.

Dr. Schlarman currently resides in Osgood, Ohio, with her husband, Kevin, and their four children. When she is not working, she keeps busy outside playing with her children, listening to podcasts, doing yoga, and exploring local coffee spots.

Dr. Chelsey Kunkler is committed to providing compassionate, personalized eye care that goes beyond simply prescribing glasses or contact lenses. She believes that healthy vision is an essential part of overall wellness and is passionate about educating patients so they feel informed, empowered, and confident in their eye health. By taking the time to understand each patient's unique needs, Dr. Kunkler strives to build lasting relationships and deliver care that supports lifelong vision and wellness.
 

Raised in Montezuma, Ohio, Dr. Kunkler graduated from Marion Local High School before attending The Ohio State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, graduating summa cum laude in 2019. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry, also graduating summa cum laude in 2023.
 

Dr. Kunkler enjoys caring for patients of all ages and is passionate about providing comprehensive, preventative eye care. Her clinical interests include primary care, ocular disease management, and myopia control. She is committed to staying current with advancements in optometry to provide evidence-based, comprehensive care tailored to each patient's lifestyle and visual needs.
 

An active member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association, Dr. Kunkler is passionate about giving back to her community. She participates in the InfantSEE program, providing comprehensive eye and vision assessments for infants ages six to twelve months at no cost, and volunteers through the Ohio Optometric Association's Realeyes Program, educating students from preschool through high school about eye health, eye safety, and the importance of healthy vision.
 

Dr. Kunkler resides in Yorkshire, Ohio, with her husband, Henry (IV), their sons, Henry (V) and Liam, and their black Labrador, Dexter. Outside the office, she enjoys discovering new coffee shops, exploring the outdoors, and making memories through family adventures and travel, finding joy in the simple moments that keep her grounded and inspired.
